Sun Catcher Collection

This August I'm hoping to add my artwork to the Art Beat event in downtown South Bend Indiana. It will be my first time entering an art show and I am really excited! It's normally an outside event so I want my booth to really stand out with my mosaic work. I have created a new line of mosaic sun catchers that I hope will catch the eyes of the public!

This first sun catcher is called "Cityscape" and shows birds flying over a city with a sunset in the background. It's 10 1/4 in x 12 1/4 .

They're all made from stained glass and have been hand cut, glued, and grouted all by me. I also have a trademark for all my mosaics. "Look for the hidden heart". I have hand cut a heart and placed it in every one of my mosaic pieces. See if you can spot it! :) I really really really love trees! I use them a lot and put nature into a lot of the different pieces I use :). All my work is made from recycled items items that I have recreated into new artwork. This next piece is called "A Walk in the Park". It shows trees in the background with birds flying over hills in a park. There's a river in the foreground that shows flowers along the river's edge. :) This piece is 6 1/2 x 8 1/2.

The flower mosaic is called "Among the Flowers". It's a cute little frame that will brighten up any window space and will make it look like spring is here no matter what outside shows :). This piece is 3 ¾ inches x 1 ½ inches.

The last sun catcher I'm posting tonight is called "Tiled Dreams" and it's the last mosaic picture shown on this page. The photo itself for this mosaic is probably my most favorite picture that I've ever taken of my work. The lighting is really pretty because it shows the sun setting so there's rays of sunshine coming in through the window. Also I have a bouquet of fresh lilacs so that would make any window look really inviting!

This sun catcher is made up of rectangular gems that are different colors. It's 11 1/8 inches x 9 1/8 inches.
